Hi, I’m Matthania Americain!
I’m a contemporary fiction book editor offering copyediting and proofreading services to authors. Giving your manuscript over to someone else can be nerve-wracking, but I’m here to help. The goal of our collaboration is to get the best version of your book into readers’ hands. I’ll make sure the grammar, spellings, punctuations, and inconsistencies are taken care of, while your voice continues to shine through and your story is told just as you intended.

Copyediting
Once you’ve finished your final draft, you’ll need help with making sure that it makes sense. I’ll help with grammar, maintain consistency, and double check accuracy.
Duration
The length of copyediting depends on the length on the manuscript. On average, copyediting can take 4-6 weeks.
Availability
I keep my availability up to date on my social media. But feel free to send me an email for inquiry or request a free sample edit.
Proofreading
Small errors can fall through the cracks. A proofread will help with that. Not much will be changed in your manuscript. A simple markup is all that’s needed.
Duration
The length of proofreading depends on the length on the manuscript. On average, proofreading can take 3-5 weeks.
